TROPHEES DE L’IMPLANTATION 2010

01/04/2009

And the prize winners are…

SYMANTEC, OTOlogics, TRANSAS MEDITERRANEAN, ZELYA ENERGY… 3 companies out of the 27 2008 new investment decisions win top honors.

The first Trophées de l’Implantation (Trophies for new arrivals) launched this year by Team Côte d’Azur were awarded in 3 categories: Innovation, International and Leadership. Nominees and local decision makers got together on March 26 in Nice at the Team offices for a prize giving ceremony. This initiative, which includes all 27 news arrivals, offered an opportunity to place winning newcomers in the spotlight as well as to highlight Team Côte d’Azur’s role as their key partner here.

The jury, which comprised members of the Board of Directors of Team Côte d'Azur (including Dominique Estève, President of the International Chamber of Commerce of Nice Côte d'Azur (CCI); Eric Ciotti, President of the Conseil général 06; and Jean-Pierre Mascarelli, President of Team Côte d'Azur, met on February 3 to chose the winners. The judges based their decisions on two main criteria for each category: the goals set for the Côte d’Azur site (e.g. to launch a new business, an expansion, or to operate across the French or European markets…); and the project’s main characteristics (to create employment and investment, the quality of the site compared with other 06 sites, the complexity of setting up the new site).
The finalists included - AUTODESK - A.E.T. GROUP - ALTRAN - EPCOS - SYMANTEC - SYSTEMS’VIP - OTOLOGICS - SUNPLUS mMOBILE - CROWN RELOCATIONS…

And the prize winners are:

* Leadership Prize: SYMANTEC,

* Innovation Prize: OTOlogics,

* International Prize: TRANSAS MEDITERRANEAN,

* Special Prize of the Jury: ZELYA ENERGY.
